Where to meet

City Island Park

1799 Ken Thompson Pkwy, Sarasota, FL 34236, at the roundabout

Arrive 20 minutes before the 8:30 PM launch to gear up and hear the safety briefing.

What the water is like here

The tour starts from the shore of Sarasota Bay, a wide, sheltered flat where the water stays shallow a long way out. Shells, crabs and small fish show up once the light pod reaches the bottom. Sightings are a perk, not a guarantee.
